To install, simply rotate the UDH hanger forward until it is completely seated in the hanger pocket or contacts the rotational stop tab, install the frame-specific UDH washer, and tighten the left-hand threaded UDH bolt to the specified torque.

When your derailleur gets bashed on a rock, the UDH will pivot back and out of the way to protect the frame and the derailleur. Additionally, the re-rail design helps guide the chain back onto the cassette if it's coming off one of the smaller cogs towards the frame, protecting against chain jams.
